Another Use for Coffee
You are probably wondering about coffee enemas and how they are different than the regular saline enemas. After all coffee is a drink, isn’t it? Actually the caffeine gets absorbed faster by this method than by drinking a cup of coffee. Be sure to talk to your doctor before starting a detoxification program with this method.
These types of enemas have been used for detoxification purposes for many years. The difference between a coffee enema and regular saline enemas is that there is caffeine in the latter. Caffeine is a stimulant and does just that…stimulates the muscles which dilate the blood vessels and bile ducts. The coffee gets absorbed by the hemorrhoidal vein and then it is taken to the liver. From there, the coffee dilates the bile ducts and the toxins are swept away to the intestinal tract. So when the colon is evacuated, the bile and toxins get flushed out of the body.
A HOMEMADE RECIPE
What you will need:
- Re-usable enema kit
- Organic / Natural Coffee (non-processed) – preferably one that is specifically made for enemas.
- Distilled Water
- French Press Coffee Pot
To be sure that you have the best and most effective coffee enema, grind the beans shortly before you use them. A French press coffee pot combines the coffee and water to make the strongest mixture for your enema. A drip-type coffee pot will work if you don’t have the French press type. Be sure that there are no grounds in your brewed coffee.
Add 8 cups of boiling water to 8 spoonfuls of ground coffee. Let the coffee cool to room temperature or a little warmer. You don’t want any burn injuries. Use the French press to remove the coffee grounds. These grounds can cause irritation to your intestines.
Pour the liquid into the enema bag and follow the instructions in your enema package. Attempt to hold the coffee in for 10 – 15 minutes.
Some people feel a heightened sense of pleasure and well being after a coffee enema. The toxins have been released and you feel like a new person.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Should not be taken by pregnant or nursing women. Children should also not use.
Stay away from this method if you have caffeine sensitivities.
People with some medical conditions, such as Diverticulitis, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and heart diseases should not start a detoxification program unless approved by your physician. BE SURE TO DISCUSS THIS WITH YOUR DOCTOR.
This type of detoxification program can result in caffeine dependence, just like as if it were consumed orally.
As with any enema procedure, there is the risk of anal tearing, perforation of the intestinal wall, electrolyte imbalances, heart failure, and death.
