The Right Master Cleanse Recipe

Lemon or Lime Juice

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice (preferably organic, approximately half of a regular sized lemon) - not the one in cans or sold frozen

Maple Syrup

2 tablespoons genuine organic maple syrup, either grade B or C - the darker it is, the better - don't use grade A maple syrup as they mostly contain refined sugars and will not give you the essential minerals you need

Cayenne Pepper

1/10 teaspoon (a very very small pinch) cayenne pepper (you can gradually increase the amount, the more BTUs, the better)

Water

300 - 500 mL or 10 - 14 oz. pure water

Mixing instructions

In a 300 mL or 10 ounce glass (make sure you allow room for mixing), add in 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, cayenne pepper and water. Make sure everything is in room temperature or medium hot (never drink the juice cold). You can prepare a 1 liter drink by adjusting the ingredient amounts accordingly. You can mix all the ingredients by shaking thoroughly, and drink all throughout the day. It is best to squeeze your lemonade fresh, and prepare the drink just before drinking.

For best results, you should drink a minimum of 60 ounces, or 6 glasses (to up to 12) a day. Make sure that you drink lots of water to supplement the lemon drink. It is said that lemon juice drank once in the morning before you start your day generates optimum results. The lemonade is already said to contain all the vitamins and minerals you need to last the 7 to 10 day detoxification.

Aside from master cleanse recipe, the detoxification process usually involves some herbal laxative for colon cleansing such as Bentonite or Psyllium seeds. This helps you with the elimination and makes the detoxification much more effective. The laxative is usually taken right before bedtime.
